About

We offer dog grooming, doggie daycare, and dog boarding in a smaller, down to earth environment that focuses on each dog as an individual!

"You say dog hair and drool like it's a bad thing!"

Resident groomer and original partner is Morrisville and Cornell University graduate Patricia. With a strong background in animal husbandry and a wide variety of animal handling experiences ranging from horse boarding to dairy farming and dog training, Patricia utilized the education she received from the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming.  She is NYS certified groomer and pet first aid/CPR trained. Husband Brian (Alfred State dairy sciences grad) assists with the business day to day and brought us a wealth of knowledge especially in terms of sanitation practices.

Daughter Cassandra founded the business after her experience in the veterinarian field and realizing she wanted to return back some form of animal care.  She began with dog sitting and grew organically from there. A graduate of SUNY Alfred and Geneseo, Cassandra strives to make connections within the community especially via social networking.  One of her passions is learning about positive reinforcement and developing fear free behavior protocols for use in grooming, daycare, and boarding.  She also enjoys weaving in as many aspects of human health, wellness, and relationship to nature as she can! Cassandra's husband Dennis has been involved with Grand View since the beginning but recently took on more leadership roles especially with recordkeeping during the transition to Grand View Canine Care Inc.

We are veterinarian recommended and can provide other professional references. We maintain a 7 to 1 dog to staff ratio.  We are willing to work with dogs that have special needs, such as diabetes or other medical conditions. We also offer wedding transport packages so that your pups can be a part of your big day in a safe way! (Contact us today to see if this might be a good fit!)

Thank you for being a part of our fur filled journey!
